The volunteer firefighters from Recaş participated on Wednesday, November 22, in an extensive exercise – emergency situation in which the Red Intervention Plan was activated.
Volunteer firefighters from Recaș and Topolovațu Mare were mobilized to the scene. The scenario consisted of a road accident with multiple victims, near the village of Cravolăț, an event caused by weather conditions.
The Timișoara Fire Departments 1 and 2, the Lugoj Fire Department, the Buziaș and Făget Fire Stations were urgently alerted and fire trucks, a heavy extrication truck, a service truck and a minibus intervened at the scene of the event. special vehicles for personal transport and multiple casualties, SMURD crews.
The objectives of the exercise were to improve the skills of those involved, to improve cooperation between institutions, as well as to train all participating forces in leading actions to limit and remove the consequences of the emergency situation in which multiple victims are involved.
